4 day Intensive Concept Development Metal Shaping Class March 26,27,28, and 29th
CLASS DATE: MARCH 26, 27, 28, AND 29TH
In this 4 Day Intensive Concept Development Class taught by Professional Metal Shaper Pat Brubaker we will be taking our concept of a iconic British sports car and you will be learning how to take the picture of the late 50s early 60s era sports car and turn it into a life size buck and start shaping panels for it! You will learn how to take a drawing and scale it to full size, and discuss the steps taken to get there. Different styles of bucks will be discussed with examples present to show the class how they are useful and where some fall short, the buck that will be made by the students is a hybrid style buck that Pat finds most useful for large scale projects. The students will learn the ins and outs of scaling and applying that information to a buck and how many stations that would be needed to complete it.
